Dr. Park Speaks at AIRC

Dr. Denise Park presented a talk at UTSW’s AIRC. It was held on Tuesday, April 15th at 9:30 AM. Her talk was entitled, “The Dallas LifeSpan Brain Study: After 12 Years, What have we learned?” 


Dr. Park Delivers Keynote Address

Dr. Park was the keynote speaker at the Maastricht University Annual Research Day in the Netherlands on March 30th, 2022. The theme was “Resilience from Genes to Brain to Behavior.” Dr. Park’s talk was titled “Cognitive Resilience and Mechanisms of Compensation in Older Adults.”  The talk was remote, and the details can be seen below.


Kusch Lecture Series

Being asked to present a Kusch lecture is a highly esteemed honor that Dr. Park was given in April of 2021. Her lecture, titled “The Amazing Aging Mind,” tells her story of becoming a cognitive psychologist and how she has used this in her life’s journey in studying the aging mind. In the lecture, she covers a variety of her personal published works on development within the aging mind and the impact these findings have made in the science world. Gala Event

The Center for Vital Longevity’s 10th Anniversary Dinner, honoring the lifetime achievements of Dr. Denise C. Park, will take place on Friday, May 20th. Invitation will be sent soon.

There will be a scientific program associated with the event on May 21. All are invited. The program will include most of the speakers already planned for the event, with a few changes. The program will be posted shortly.
