Biosketch

I am a Cognition and Neuroscience PhD student in Park Aging Mind Lab at Center for Vital Longevity, University of Texas at Dallas. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Beijing Normal University (China) in 2012, and my Master of Science in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2014. I am a backpacker and love travelling in my free time. My greatest desire is to “conquer” all the continents.

Research Interests

I am interested in structural (i.e., regional cortical thinning) and functional changes (i.e., dedifferentiation) associated with normal aging and preclinical Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and how these are mediated by cognitive and/or psychosocial factors, with cognitive behavioral and brain imaging methodology. I am also interested in effective intervention aiming to prevent or delay cognitive decline associated with normal aging.
