Primary Research Interests:
Eric is primarily interested in the cognitive neuroscience of aging with a particular focus on memory. It is clear that aspects of memory degrade over the course of a lifetime, and it is his goal to explore the neural signatures of these changes. His current research utilizes functional neuroimaging to examine the changes in medial temporal and frontal cortical structures in the aging adult. Additionally, Eric is interested in how the brain creates and holds associations between items, especially as a function of age.
