The Center for Vital Longevity Face Database was created at the University of Michigan by Meredith Minear and Denise Park. Access to the database is restricted to academic researchers.
Although some datasets (e.g., Kristen Kennedy's normed faces) include datasheets, for most sets all demographic information is encoded in the image filenames. For additional information, please contact us.
Original publication: Minear, M. & Park, D.C.(2004). A lifespan database of adult facial stimuli. Behavior Research Methods, Instruments, & Computers. 36, 630-633. See specific stimuli sets for addtional citation information.
Access is now unrestricted! Please send us a note if you find the faces useful. We're also happy to host modified stimuli if you would like to make your faces available to the world.
